Looks like we're getting a new Blade and Soul mobile game but this time, it's for VR. At the recent Game Developer's Conference 2017 (GDC), NCsoft revealed the demo version of their newest spinoff to the popular PC MMORPG Blade and Soul titled Blade & Soul: Table Arena and it's made with the Unreal Engine 4.
The game play is heavily focused on 1 vs 1 PVP and is somewhat very similar as to how Clash Royale is played. You can obtain troops or soldiers with chibi designed characters (yes, I admit, they really look cute). The available troops in the demo version is limited but I'm sure the roster will grow once the game is launched.
Would love to see a Yu Gi Oh version of this in the near future. |
And speaking of launch date, NCsoft hasn't given any specific launch date for now. The good news is the game is being developed in English just like their previous RPG mobile game Lineage: Red Knights. That's good news for those gamers that are always frustrated that all the good mobile games are always released in Korean language first. Bad news? I do have a VR but I don't have any controller! LOL! Hoping for more updates.
