SQUARE ENIX (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Nier Automata, Kingdom Hearts). Oh come on what gamer doesn't know Square Enix? Anyway, they have announced that their own mobile MOBA game, FLAME VS BLAZE will be launching in North America later this year (expect it to be around Q3 or Q4).
Just like other MOBA titles, the game is played in real-time PvP battles with 3 players in each team (like Vainglory). In addition, they also added some new elements like BOSS BATTLES and fully customizable characters. Players can also develop their own play style. You can battle monsters to make them your allies to strengthen your defenses or assault the enemy base and battle against other players.
The game is riddled with an all-star development team including:
- Producer, Hironori Okayama (KINGDOM HEARTS UNCHAINED X)
- Director, Yuji Abe (FINAL FANTASY VIII)
- Character design, Gen Kobayashi (THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU)
There's no news yet on when it will see a global release and I for one, will be waiting for it. Hoping to get more news on this soon.
